Pairing Beer with Food

28 Nov

I found this article on Men’s Journal’s website while stumbling across the internet. It’s a short guide to pairing beer with food, which is as important as knowing which wine to serve with your meals because the wrong flavor combination can ruin the whole meal. I thought it was neat because I always have a hard time choosing a beer when I go out to eat at a restaurant. Here’s a short overview, click here to see the full article:

Tailgating=Pilsners

Intense Flavors=Belgian Tripels

Sushi=White Beers

Spicy Foods=India Pale Ales

Wild Game & Chocolate=Fruit Lambics

Steaks=Brown Ales
